Kirsten Cappy of Curious City partners with an educator or librarian on the creation of almost every children’s book engagement tool. All of Curious City’s projects are also created in close cooperation with the book’s creators. All tools created outside of my culture are vetted by someone from within the community represented. I am grateful and humbled by the generosity and commitment of my partners and advisors.

Here, though, is the team we turn to most often:

Anne Sibley O’Brien is an acclaimed children’s book author and illustrator honored with the National Education Association Author-Illustrator Human & Civil Rights Award, adviser on race and culture in children’s literature, and blogger at Coloring Between the Lines: reflections on race, culture and children’s books.

Editorial & Audiobooks
Jennifer Dowell is the editor of AudioFile Magazine, the bold copy editor of Curious City materials, and an adviser on children’s and young adult audio.  (Any errors found on this website or in our publications is a clear indication that we failed to ask her to proof that particular item!)
