While we might not be going door to door this year, we can go book by book.

TRICK OR REATERS is a national effort to promote literacy at Halloween by connecting trick-or-treaters (ages 4-12) to our free collection of over 100 scary, mysterious, and fantastical book teasers and the engaging activities and book recommendations that accompany them.

This year Trick or Reaters is sponsored by Spooky Middle Grade, a group of middle grade authors working to prove that spooky stories serve an important role all year round.
