Curious City DPW remains open to our bookish friends!
Kirsten Cappy of Curious City, however, has turned her attention to running the nonprofit she co-founded. I'm Your Neighbor Books uses children's books to build a stronger America, one where immigrants are welcomed and where first, second, and third generation Americans truly belong.
Kidlit bookish surprises will continue to appear here, but the rate of materials will diminish. Thanks to all that have been a part of this kidlit city!!
Just finished the story walk at North SeaTac Park in SeaTac, WA.What an absolutely amazing idea encouraging children to get outdoors with a parent, exercising their minds (through story and imagination by answering related questions) and their bodies (walking, running and participating in the other suggested physical movements) throughout the story! Just wish I had a young person with me to enjoy the fully immersive experience 😁 wonderful idea – I hope it is repeated.
